For the past two years my seven year old niece has done the stair climb here in Lancaster. Her first year she did the stair climb she was only six years old and completed three of the five laps. Last year she was six years old and completed all five laps. She understands what happened on September 11th. Last year she picked out a tag and carried one of the fallen firefighters. She now says she has a firefighter in heaven watching over her. She recently asked if she could go to ground zero and to a firehouse sometime this summer. I would like to bring her by your house to show her the wall and let her meet some of the guys. Thank you in advance for your time. It would mean alot to a little girl.

Hello,
I'm a medic down in Delaware. I'm currently going back to school attending the University of Delaware. I am having to write a paper/story on a major historical event and given my profession, I am choosing 9/11. I was not on the east coast during that time, I was still living in Alaska, so my knowledge is limited to what I saw on TV. I am needing to interview a medic/EMT/FF who was on ground zero for my primary source. What they saw, did, etc. The more details the better as I have to have a fictional component to my story. If anyone from station 10 is willing to correspond with me via Skype, email or phone conversation before Wed March 8th (sorry for last minute, gotta love my college professors...)I'd be very greatful. Please respond via my email (alaskaborn81@gmail.com) and we can go from there.
God Bless!!

Hello,

My family will be in NY June 5th - 7th, 2017 and would like to stop by the firehouse with my 6 yr. old daughter and husband. I realize you are a firehouse, so, this may be a silly question, but are there times during the day that tend to be better times to stop by? Also, we would like to do something to give back to the firehouse for your bravery on 9/11 and for your bravery everyday to protect the citizens of NY. Is there something you suggest...eg. is there anything all the firefighters like (eg. food items), a fund we can donate to, or a charity you support? We will buy shirts, but would like to do more. Of course, we'll stop by the memorial, but want our daughter to understand the travesty of what happened on 9/11 and the importance of giving back. Thank you so much!!

My wife and I was in New York City two years ago. I didn't know that there was a fire house so close to Ground Zero. Enjoy the mural on the wall. Thank You for your service.

Hey Ten House - I stopped by the house back in October while I was in town to purchase a t-shirt, but wasn't able to because the locker was locked. Any way we could coordinate something online? Not sure when I will be back to New York.

Loved seeing your smiling faces, as you stood at the back door of Station 10... I asked if I could get a picture with the guys... y'all were sweet to acknowledge and ablidge my request. We asked if any of them were there on 9/11... an a young man pointed and said, " that guy right there"..... it was at that moment Sal Argano smiled humbly and dropped his head...When I looked into his eyes in that moment, I felt like I was looking at a real life Angel...now, with that said.... I know the guys at the station might have fun with that comment, but please know how touching it was to stand hip to hip... arm to arm with a hero who has been touched by God's grace, after the events of 9/11...I walked away with tears rolling down my face... thank you, Sal, for allowing me the time...and... Thank you for your service to the people of this great city... You are loved! Your new Florida friend.... Traci
